There are days I watch the news and see tragedies involving children, and I want to kiss my daughter even tighter. Sometimes I see parents smack their kids around in a public place, and I want to smack the parents. It is a shame that people have to pass a test or training is required before parents. I remember the day I made the baby hospital newborn house, and have never felt so lost and helpless. Finally, instincts take over. Unfortunately, some people do not seem to have the instincts.
The moment I learned I was pregnant, I went crazy buying and reading parenting magazines. I subscribed to a few of, tune their arrival every month. There were so many articles on pregnancy and parenting, I really started to get an idea of what it would become a parent. I loved the advice columns and sections humor. Some of the articles in parenting magazines that were so great and helpful, they are cut off. I need an article about tantrums would not be until my unborn child met two or three years, but it was worth keeping. What I found was a shoe box and put all the items were worth keeping inside it. Usually, I find the section where all the parenting magazines worth reading again in the future. I always cut the sections dealing with how to handle an emergency or illness. It is never bad to have on hand.
There are tons of parenting magazines on paper right now. All you have to do is walk into a big bookstore and look at the racks of magazines. Some of them may not intrigue you at all. Others will grab your attention and hold great interest. No matter how old your child is, or if you are just at the stage of waiting, parenting magazines are designed to help you gather information about parenting. They are not guided, because they are not as long as we wish they did, but they are there to help you with advice cases, and humor. It is always nice to read about other parents in the same shoes as I am when I feel extremely frustrated and alone.
